We would like to invite you to the 7th Annual 2011 Maui Open Taekwondo Championship.

This year's tournament will be held on November 26, 2011 at The Maui War Memorial Gym in Wailuku.

The Maui Open features divisions for all ages and levels of Taekwondo and is a great opportunity to meet athletes from around the globe. National Team Members from Austria, Croatia, Canada, Philippines, India, Nigeria and the USA have attended the Maui Open over the past 6 years.

Starting August 2011, our tournament webpage will be updated frequently, so check back often for the latest information. For your convenience, we will provide online registration and information on travel, etc. We offer full matted rings, electronic scoring, certified national/international referees and more.

This year we will be using the Lajust electronic body protectors system for all black belt divisions.All black belt sparring competitors have to wear LaJust Foot Sensor Socks with or without padding. We do provide the EBP but NOT the socks. Please purchase the socks from the Lajust website at http://www.lajustsports.com or call (877) LAJUST1 (877-525-8781).We will also be adding creative breaking as an extra event.
